Crazy maggot lady (warning, LONG)

Every time I delivered a replacement-exchange pizza out to someone who claimed s/he'd found a hair ...

1. The hair was on top of the slice.

2. It was the last slice in the box.

3. The hair was not burnt (as it should if it had gone through a 600+ degree oven).

4. The hair never looked like it came from the bald guy who takes the pizzas out of the oven and boxes them.

I guess it's just one of those mysteries.

You know, with the allowed amount of "insect particles" in food, it is amazing people freak over a HAIR. Personally, if I found a hair on top of my pizza, I would either pull it off and eat (depending on how long or "stuck" the hair was) or leave that slice and eat the rest. I probably would not even bother to call the pizza place..Call me gross, but it is JUST a hair......Everyone has hair that falls out everywhere.....one small hair will not kill you! That is just my opinion.

Wonder what happens when you point things like that out? Does it become a case of "the delivery driver must've opened the box" or some such thing?
