As usual, computers are just kinda incidental.
Customer calls in to the computer shop looking for an ac adapter for a laptop. (They didn't ask for it directly, but I figured out what they needed)
I ask for the model number of the laptop. Customer responds by describing the head of the power plug. (Thats once!)
That doesn't really help me, and I tell him so. I ask again for the model number, explaining that the adapters are (relitavely) unique to their laptops.
Response: I don't have it with me. I'll call you back. (Thats twice!)
You'd think that people would have learned by now
