Almost sucky, kinda stupid
Some of our theaters are pretty darn cold. Our heating unit is broken, corporate has been called several times but has yet to send someone. We have signs up notifying people which movies are going to be cold. I was working in box and this lady called about it.
Me: Thank you for calling blahblah blah blah blah How may I help you?
SC: Um yes I was there last night to see Enchanted with my daughter, we saw the signs saying it was going to be cold and we sat through it for 2 hours and froze! (I'm serious, thats what she said)
Me: ........ok....
SC: *getting kinda whiny*well I was wondering if you could do something to compensate us...
Me:.... um... well there's not much we can do, our heating unit is broken, corporate has yet to send someone, and all we can do is warn people.
Sc: But I didn't know it was going to be that cold! isn't there anything you can do?
Me: I'm sorry, there isn't.
SC: I wouldn't have taken my daughter if I knew it was going to be that cold!
Me: Well, I am sorry about that but we can't really do anything.
SC: oh.. ok, well, bye
Geez, you saw the signs, but you went in anyways! The signs make an emphasis on "Cold"! I'm sorry bout your frozen tush, but we won't compensate you when you knew it's going to be cold. If we compensated you we'd have to compensate everyone else who was in there! and we are certainly not going to do that.

I told my manager about the call, he said I should have given the phone to him so he could have called her an idiot.
