  • First one of the morning...

You know, I rarely risk coming here at work...but this is just another one of those times.

We've been open for less than an hour, and I've already been super-ruded.

I don't understand it. It's a beautiful day. Nice and sunny and not too cold. Who the Fuck pissed in this guy's cornflakes?

For openers, I'll admit to being 5 mins late to work. This guy was waiting in the parking lot when I showed up. Never a good sign. He gives me .05 seconds to open the door, and comes up the walkway. Now, I was not on the sales floor because I had to clock in, then open the register. He left. Oooh good.

No good. He comes back later with another person. I cheerily greet him, but get nothing.

He brings me a competitor phone and demands chargers. I express doubt, and tell him I'll have to check. He BARKS at me that "All Samsungs are the same!" I very politely offer to check, but warn him that I am unsure since we don't carry that model phone. I open one type, but the business end of the charger is too big. He yells at me that I have it upside down. I flip it over (like it matters) and say, I'm sorry but it appears to be too large and I don't want to force it." He grabs it out of my hand, tries it, and says, "Oh, I guess you're right." (no shit dumbass)

I check the back and do find what he needs. (yay me)

He picks up a headset and charger and I go to ring him out.

Standard procedure, I ask name and address.

I get yelled at for asking for the address, asked for an explanation, and refused said address. (no big deal, but don't be rude, right???)

Polite as pie I ring him up and wish him a nice day. He grumbles and leaves with his companion, who never said a word to him about his rudeness.

I hope this isn't an indication of how the rest of my day will be...I still have 8 hours left.
I will not shove “it” up my backside. I do not know what “it” is, but in my many years on this earth I have figured out that that particular port hole is best reserved for emergency exit only. -GK

Some people have no empathy. That, and being born ugly, stupid and with terminal wedgie syndrome, he's kinda bent TOWARDS being grumpy..

Just remember that you DO have the right to refuse service to customers who are going out of their way to be dicks.

We had a fuckwit like that where I work a few weeks ago. He bitched and moaned the whole two minutes he was in line about how he had been waiting there for fifteen minutes. I was standing behind him in line getting a snack for break. He then takes his venom out on the poor cashier, who was new, and ends up getting ordered to leave by management because of racist remarks about said cashier (she was Mexican).

I am happy to report that the rest of my customers were wonderful. My co-worker said the same thing as you Mike...

and Crazeyal and Jacen...Thanks for the laugh.

It just made me so mad that this guy would be so rude! I was going to offer him a discount because I knew it was the same guy who was waiting out in the lot and afterall, I WAS late... but after the way he treated me, I just thought...screw it! and charged him full price. Nastiness doesn't fly with me.
