  • hahaha (quicky)

I just had a not so much sucky, just rather impatient and rather stupid guest on the phone.
On every single one of our upscale calls we MUST follow a 6 step sales process, I was on step 5 and this lady goes off on the, Oh God, he doesn't know how to just get to the point and book me the damned room either, then hung up... which I think is funny because had she waited 5 seconds I would have gotten her the room, instead she decided that she needed to be impatient and hang up.

what makes me laugh though is that she thinks that by calling back she'll get one of us to skip the six step DICE process

she will be pissed by the end of the day...

Ha ha ha that is funny, it is like the people that call my work and don't like the answer we give the first time so they call back trying to get a different answer. And they think when we ask "Is this a new case or have you called about this before" if they say new we wont be able to see that they called earlier in the day with the same question

I like it best when they call back and try to disguise their voice, but you know it's them because they ask the same question, and usually forget they're still a "different person" when you once again tell them what they don't want to hear.

I particularly like it when they do that in our 'call center'. On the weekends, there's only 4-5 of us here, so when they hang up and call back in the hopes of getting a different answer, it's so much fun to snicker in the background and ask them deliberate questions just to aggrivate them.

Bonus points if we say (in fake, sweet tone) 'Oh. This sounds familiar. Did you just call here?' And the answer is always an indignant 'Noooooo'.
