  • Do You Google SCs?

I do, every night after work.

Some of the worst ones are the spouses of doctors and dentists, or the docs themselves. Surprising lack of courtesy and manners.

I didn't have to. Working at the grocery store and gas station, and living in a town of 14,000 to boot, everyone was local. Plus, most of the SCs at the gas station always wore their work uniforms so I knew they were construction workers or mechanics, and they usually drove company vehicles. Amazing how they acted so awful representing their companies that way. But, surprisingly enough, the owners of said companies weren't much more pleasant.

Most of my SCs weren't doctors or lawyers or rich folk. There aren't a lot of rich people where I live, save for the owner of Menards and his awful children. Almost all my SCs were poor.

I prefer to look up videos of frustrated customers making asses of themselves on YouTube and other such video sites.

I've always wanted to. There was this guy that was checking into my hotel, was being a bit dickish, because he couldn't figure out how to use the reservation system, and ended up flying from godknowswhere to here, and thought it was appropriate to take it out on the front desk agent.

I'll never forget that he used the "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?", because now I'm kinda curious. Too bad he wasn't in the system.

Did once. It was Expensive Dinner Man. After that fiasco I looked up his name and saw that he owned a few ice cream shops that I had never even heard of in the area.

The apple store I now work at did that. It turned out to be a big time photographer and stuff. I dont know if he got his way...

One of the most demanding- not really sucky as she was always making demands that were within her rights and doing so politely, but definitely wanting special treatment- customers I ever had at the pet store turned out to be the wife of the owner of several car dealership chains in the area, one of the richest families in the state.

Only when they say things like "Oh, well, I have <other ISP> at my two vacation homes and they've worked perfectly forever."

I don't need to either. Most of my SC's are in my computer system at work with names, addresses, phone numbers, vehicle info, license plate numbers...........

If only they knew what I could do if I were so inclined.........

"Do you know who I am?!!!"

LOL. That always reminds me of the story I heard about a guy at the airlines. He tried to budge ahead and was informed that he had to wait his turn. When using the "Do you know who I am?" line.... the woman responded with an announcement, "We have a passanger who does not know who he is. If there is anyone who knows him, could you collect him at the ____ ticket counter?"

I think he called her a b**** but everyone else laughed

Yes indeed. Never had a whole lot of luck tracking them down or finding out who they were, though. Not even the guy who threatened to have his uncles in the US Congress come after me because I wouldn't cancel his reservation.

Don't have to. I know where they work, their rent/house payment, their bounced checks, what ATM's they visit, etc. I don't want to sound creepy because I don't just sit around looking through customers accounts for fun all day. I'm not Big Brother; I'm trying to help you use your money to its fullest.

However, keep in mind that if you bitch to me about overdraft fees, don't expect sympathy when I see you've been at the casino 15 times this month alone. If I can I'll make sure your rent or insurance goes through, but I don't feel bad returning checks written to bars if you're already overdrawn.
                          "Any free samples?"
                          "Sorry, not today."

Come on people, we're a bank not a bakery.

I don't have to google them. Especially, if they are contractors with a business. "Do you know how much I spend in this store?!"

Not yet. Let me look that up. Yep, just what I thought. Not nearly enough to have deal with your ass. NEXT!

I've noticed that people who use that line and "Do you know who I am" are nobodys with a false sense of entitlement.

I did a couple of times. One was because someone who was paying rent, all of a sudden stopped. Later we learned that he was in the hospital.
