hi all,
i'm new here, i've been reading the posts but this is the first time i've had something worthy.
i'm a waitress at a buffet restaurant that specializes in chinese but we also serve canadian food, it's a pretty good job most of the time. i like my co-workers, and my boss (mostly) and, more often than not, my customers.
today tho, i had a lady call in about 8pm, i was bored so i was happy to hear the phone ring. til she told me the problem. she said that she was in on the 14th of dec. with her daughter and that her credit card was charged twice. but she wouldn't give me her name. said she was uncomfortable with that.
ummmm....it's your credit card! do you not think i'm going to need to see your statement???: rolleyes: you think your name is personal!!!! when i explained that i was definately going to need information to be of any assistance at all (and, because i've been reading the posts here, i was polite but very very clear!) she hung up!!! did she think i was going to leave an evelope with the money in it laying on the back step so she could grab it while no one was looking??? ya, cuz she said so!! i'll get right on it!!

and you were well within your rights to put a stop to that women's scam. Congrats you did well.
