Wow. My coworkers told me they banned one of our ... less... friendly... jerkass customers. Then they told me why. I'm still speechless. I've heard of someone being a dumbass. But.. wow.

Coworkers are talking to each other as one is coming on shift, and other is wating for her cab. Grumpy man comes in. Walking up and down the asles, he's screaming to himself about his car. He goes up to Graveguy, and asks if he can use our phone. Phone is for work purposes only. BUT graveguy is a nice guy, and offered him his cellphone. Dude goes to jerky, (Which is near the register). Swing girl is doing her paperwork, and is finishing her story to graveguy.

Guess what the dude said to her? Or, rather to graveguy. "You need to shut her UP!!!!"

Both swing girl and grave guy eyes bulge out. Now, We're all pretty equalminded at work. We all agree on most things. Including chavilstic bullshit shouldn't be uttered anymore. But they keep their tempers. (Which is more then I would have done. I would have open a whole can of isults, and i'm a manager!). So he keeps trying to remember his number, and swing girl starts to try to finish her convernstation.

This pisses the man off more. "OH FUCK THERE SHE GOES AGAIN!! SHUT UP BIOTCH!!!:" (Then THROWS his cell phone at Grave guy, and storms out.


Much speechlessness insures.

They both laugh at each other though. More then good enough reason to kcik him out.

I come in last night to do grave, and she tells me the story. Apperently, during her shift yesterday, he came in and tried to say he was sorry, and held out his hand. (On which she swears she saw it as a ball of slime). She was very happy to tell him to. get. out. (Though with a extra swear word there).

I was talking to manager about it.

And I was slightly shocked at her reply about it. I knew this crap store is pissing us all off, but that crap would have never flew at the old store. But at this one, she wants to talk to him first, to see why he did it. If its enough to please her, he's allowed back in.

Mostly because corporate likes him for not stealing, and buying beer everyday.

Oh, man, poor Swing Girl. I don't think I could handle that if I were in her shoes. I'd probably get out of there as fast as possible and try to pull myself together. XD I'm weak.

I say it's good that she stuck up for herself by telling him to get out, though I'd have wanted an explanation first. But explanation or not, there's no reason in the world you should pass your troubles onto someone by being rude.

of course coporate will let him back in. They don't have to deal with him. All they have to do is sit around a big table and decide howmuch to pay each other and how to "cut costs" which translated is: Screw over the employees who do all the work, which usually isn't anyone in upper management, they go for the assistant managers and grunt workers.

If I were in graveguy's position I would have told him that his words immediately revoked his privlidge in using my phone!
