Getting knocked out in the parking lot.

my co-worker was working the service desk in the middle of an ordinary ASunday afternoon. Out of the blue this woman, balling her eyes out, runs up to the serivice desk shouting that she had been punched in the face. According to her, this is what hapenned.

Her family(kids and all) were driving through the parking lot to park. They see a spot open, but another lady's cart was in the way. The lady and her family finish unloading the cart and seems to be leaving. The woman wanting to park takes the cart to move it out of the way. Before she could move it an inch, the other woman yanks the cart out of her hand, walks around the cart and punches the lady in the face. All of this goes done while husband and children with both women look on.

Talk about cart rage!!!

She tried to move the empty cart, in essence picking up after this family, and the woman took offense to this? I have no idea what they put in the water, but it's corroded her brain beyond repair.

I gotta say, I want to know what happened next. I mean, if husband and kids were nearby, what stopped the husband from cracking this insane woman on the head and beating her down? I know few people who wouldn't come to the defense of their SO. I sure hope the cops were called. At the very least, tell me they took down the license plate number. Good grief.

I would press charges and sue the bitch for any lost wages or out of pocket expenses plus a nice chunk of cash for emotional damage.

Suing probably wouldn't be feasible unless the store had security cameras in the parking lot. "Cart rage" isn't all that common. Pressing charges...I would file a police report and see what the cop said. Sadly enough, this probably came down to a she said, she said situation.

I want to know what really happened...

It reminds me of a case here where somebody claimed a security guard at the airport assaulted him "because I'm Indian". It even went to court, where the defense lawyers played security camera footage where the alleged victim appeared to be drunk - talking very loudly, staggering around, etc. and the guard talked to him for a while, then threw him and only hit the "victim" in self defense.

I love watching it when bigots get smacked down by managers, police , or court of law. There are far too many racist police brutality claims where most of the time the "victim" struck frst or pulled a knife etc. And the new only show the beatdown in an attempt to get you enraged and because they dont care about accurate reporting just good ratings

Exactly. They don't like it when the cops actually do their jobs. Not saying all cops are good, but I suspect that 99% of the time, the 'victim' not only started it, but was in full need of a beat-down to let them know who's in charge....

Situation - Some crazy bitch just punched you in the face, presumably for moving her cart and also because she's a crazy bitch.

Solution - Elbow her in the throat. When she does the instinctful throat grab, you proceed to grab a shoulder and her hands and stuff her in the cart. Violently shove the cart into other carts in the cart corral. Most likely, the cart will bounce back slightly. At this point, you hop up on the cart corral and do a flying slam down into the cart, which should tip it and knock her out of it. Now, pick up the cart, run her over with it, then pick it up and slam it down on her. Problem solved!

That's why nobody (at least locally) takes 'brutality' charges seriously any more. All too often, it's some idiot attacking a cop, and then crying when they get put in cuffs. Not long ago, a guy got killed while trying to run down a cop with his car, after leading police, who were just serving a warrant, on a high-speed chase through town And yes, after he was killed, his family, along with his neighborhood were screaming "police brutality" over it. Never mind that the guy was trying to kill a cop!

Getting back on topic, if that woman tried attacking someone in the Walmart parking lot near me...it's likely she'd have been shot. Seriously--there have been all sorts of violent events up there.

Yes, cops where called, and we had to pull the feed from our security Cameras.
