Alright, so this is one thing that I don't understand.
At the College I work at, and I assume it's like this everywhere, if you don't pay your tution on time, you get dropped. Okay. So when one signs up for classes, and gets the bill, they generally try and pay the bill ON time. At least I would assume this, because if taking classes is THAT important, you'd have your shit a little more together than that.
I work the switchboard (and dispatch at the police dept.) and I can't do much other than transfer people and answer basic questions... Why do people call me 10 minutes before the office closes on the day the bill is due?
Also, do not call me at 6:30 pm or later, DEMAND to talk to the tution office, and then proceede to chew me out because they are closed. I don't give a shit if you NEED to pay your son/daughter's tution. Oh, it was due two days ago? Well, you should have called earlier or tried a little harder to get it in on time. It's not my fault.
Oh, you don't believe me that they are closed? Well, they are, and I can't help you at all.
You want my name because you are going to tell my boss that I wouldn't take care of your bill? Mk. Have fun with that.
