    Is that how he always answers the phone?

    First, when the place I work calls a person, the call comes up "unavailable" since we are debt collectors. No, not one of those who buy old debt, I wouldn't work for one of those companies.

    Anyway, I place an outgoing call and an older guy answers by saying "Hey, would you blow me?" before I even said a word. I didn't miss a beat and replied "Not if your life depended on it!"

    He hung up, I guess I ruined his fun by not acting shocked and outraged. I'm sorry, but it's very hard to say something that would truly shock me, so try harder next time.
