I am the back-up for my receptionist, so when she takes her breaks and lunches, I cover for her. (and when she calls off sick (which is often), I am the receptionist for the day.
Most of the time, the calls are just a pain in the arse, but once in a while, you get a call that cracks you up. I work in a home care agency, and the majority of our calls will ask for someone in the Home Health Aide Department.
One day, I got a call from an older sounding lady, obviously a client who said, "I need the department that gives you aides".
