OK, so I bought some carpet tiles on ebay about a week and a half ago, which need to be picked up. I own a business and have a courier that I could get to pick them up, so this was the plan.
Oh, also important to note that the name on the ebay account is my husbands, but I bid on the tiles, my husband had nothing to do with it.
The seller prefers to correspond by phone rather than e-mail, so he called my house when I wasn't home and left a message to call him back. I did call him back, and got a "this phone is no longer connected" message. So I waited for him to call me again.
He did.
Me: hi
EP: ebay psycho.
I screen calls, so when the phone rings I let the machine answer.
EP: Hi, I fucking want to speak to <my husband> right now, you wanna fuck me around, I want fucking payment for those carpet tiles and I fucking want it by monday aftern- [I picked up the phone]
Me: Hello? Is this about the carpet tiles?
EP: Yes, I want to speak to <my husband>
Me: This is Kali, I bought the tiles on my husbands ebay account, im the one to speak to about it.
EP: No, put <my husband> on the phone, I don't wanna argue with a woman
Me:
But he doesn't know a thing about it, its no good talking to him!
EP: He fucking will know about it when theres 6 blokes standing around him, so you'd better fucking tell him
Me: Hang on, calm down, im not putting him on because he wont be able to help you. Talk to me.
EP: Fuck! You get <my husband> to ring me back, I want payment on those tiles, and I want it today *click*
I must say I was pretty shaken. Now I dont want the tiles at all, but I also don't want some psycho with my name, phone number and address pissed off at me! I wanted to call the police, but hubby calmed me down and I agreed to just leave it.. but if he calls again and drops one more f-bomb, its going to police.
Also if any of you want me to name this freak so you dont buy anything off him, send me a message.

Called police, they basically said to keep any more threats he leaves on the answering machine.
The guy called again and I answered like an idiot before the machine picked up because I was expecting a call, basically he threatened my husband again (lol) and threw more of the same psycho shit at me. I told him I no longer want the tiles and not to call me again.
I had a look at his feedback and saw that I wasnt the first person to have these problems, someone said he THREATENED THEIR CHILDREN :S. Another woman he left feedback for, he said "She tried to offer other services for the money", which the woman laughed at. This guy is obviously some kind of woman-hater.
Anyway I contacted ebay several times over the months that followed trying to get them to ban this freak, but I always got the same response: "Please contact your local police." No matter how many times I explained to them that I *HAD* forwarded the matter to the police, but I wanted them to ban his eBay account so nobody else suffered the same thing as myself and others had, and I wanted them to remove the negative feedback he left me. ("CRIES POOR, lies and tried 2 rip me off. COWARDLY hiding behind his defacto, LOW").
eBay refused over and over to remove the feedback or ban the guy, but eventually he was listed as "No longer a registered user." I was happy with this... until about a month after that, he is back, and almost all of his negative feedback is gone, and ALL of his neutral feedback is gone. My negative feedback from him remains.
I refuse to deal with eBay anymore because of this. I just wanna forget the guy and make sure he doesnt scare anyone else like he did to me, but I guess that was too much to ask.
