Today is starting off to be a pretty crappy day. I received back a bunch of sales tickets from my boss and he said, sigh, "These are going to have to be credited back and rebilled." I asked him why and he told me it was because of the way I listed the material but I was told by this customers accounting department it was ok to list the material this way. So I called the lady in accounting and she told me the same thing she had last time.
I replied that I wasn't sure why these sales tickets were brought back then and she said she'd have to call the manager in charge of the particular project and make sure he approves of things being listed that way. Well, of course, he doesn't. Apparently, it's a preference thing. Now, I have to credit all of these sales tickets back and rebill them individually. That's awesome... It seems, with this customer, there is always some kind of problem. I use to really care and try to make things exactly how they wanted so we won't lose the customer but now I don't give a rat's ass because everything I do ends up being wrong according to someone else or it changes. Whatever! They obviously have way too many "bosses" and not enough "crew."
