  • That doesn't help

Do people think they're helping when they individually hand me each item of clothing, when they have a WHOLE CART full of clothes? It just slows things down and makes me think you're insane for not wanting them on the counter. I feel like I'll get yelled out once I set them down in a pile to put in a bag.
And today I had a lady who really confused me. She put all but two items of clothing on the counter(which she was holding up, and other items she put down were clothes). I rang up everything else, thinking she was just waiting for some more room until she put them down, but no, she just held them up.
    Why???

Maybe she was waiting to see what the rest came to before deciding if she could afford the last two?

Nah she wasn't looking at the screen(which apparently EVERYONE has a hard time seeing, but when I'm on the customer side I have no problem at all). She was holding it in front of her body, including her face. I was so confused!

My pet peeve is quickly becoming the people that come up to the counter and act as though Im going too slow taking things off the hangers so they grab the clothing and start taking the hangers off...I usually stop taking them off and stand back and wait.

I mean come on! I ring them up as I take them off the hanger...it helps me keep track of what I've scanned. SO...I usually stop what Im doing..wait for them to take them off the hangers...and then I put them all into a pile and start ringing them up....
