I was falling asleep last night after the football game and still had my tv turned on (anyone else love Miked Up)? Anyway, that Quizno's commercial came on, the relatively new one where they compare the amount of steak in the Subway and Quiznos philly cheese steaks.

But a new screen was added right at the end. It said that if you are dissatisfied with the sub for ANY reason, you get a sub for free. Any bets on how well this goes? My deepest sympathies to all you Quiznos employees out there.

oh god, my corp made a similar mistake recently with a free iced drink...that was only intended to be regional (for employees, family and friends of employees), but due to it being put out by EMAIL, it went all over. yup; we had to honor it until corp said 'no more.'

Starbucks had a similar occurance with their frappucinos (wonder if it's the same thing) every location got cleaned out of them before corporate finally caught on and cut it off.

Actually, I think I would rather enjoy that situation. Because let's be honest here; if a reasonable and legitimate customer had a real problem with his sub, you'd make it right for him regardless of any ongoing promotion, right?

But if a scammer tried it, all you'd have to do is give him the card, shrug, smile and ask if there's anything else you can help with today.

Hehe that would be so much fun! Quiznos people, take pictures of facial expressions and take them to my lab for processing so we can all have a good laugh!
