      I resemble that remark.

WTF is a Southpaw and should I be insulted?

I'm gonna have to agree with the whole "Red-heads are a male's natural weakness." The SO likes redheads.... which I'm kinda sorta not... (my hair is naturally red/brown)

I consider red-haired women a natural male weakness.
You've noticed that too? I tend to lean towards redheads and brunettes.

I was MEANT to be a redhead. I have porcelain skin which freckles easily, green eyes, ia firey temper and I am even part irish for jaffa cakes sake, all the women in my family with hair ranging from bright orange to deep reddish black- and I got mouse brown.

            Mouse brown.

This is what chemists are for. The actual shade changes according to the mood I'm in when I go to the hair dye section, but it is always red.

apart from the fact that- burnings were quite rare, really. People tended to be hanged, or drowned for witchcraft more than burned. It's just the birning was so dramatic, it tends to be remembered more.

Which is why all those ;I am a reincarnated witch from salem and I was burned!' are so funny, because all but two of those women were hanged...
I also love it when Americans go on about Salem as if it was such a unique terrible event when only about a dozen "witches" died. Whereas the Inquisitors were responsible for thousands of deaths of supposed witches on the continent. In England, witches were usually hanged; it was heretics who were burned. Look up Queen Mary for stories of heretics burned; she was Catholic and persecuted Protestants. Any who refused to renounce their faith were sentenced to be burned.

I'm also a Kiss fan; according to some people, that also makes me a child of the devil. That has always been a source of great amusement to me. Interestingly, the only time I've ever been called anything like "Satan's child" was when my hair was dyed black. XD

It's old slang for left-handed. Amazingly enough, it's not deragatory slang either.

Are you saying very indirectly that you're left-handed? 'cause that's my schtick, and I'm thanking you to stop horning in on my gig.

I think it was the Romans (before Christianity came to the land) that actually held red heads in high regard. Plus, they thought any seventh child of a seventh child was lucky. (Now, it's the 7th son of a 7th son, but if a 7th son had a 7th daughter, she'd be lucky too - just to explain it better).

Hmm, and there was me thinking that red heads were the descendants of angels.
... Horny, sex crazed angels, but angels nevertheless.

I'm a good percentage Scottish with some Irish tossed in (along with some Sassenach, French and German), and Scotland is supposed to have the most redheads per capita.

You all forced me to go read up on redheads on Wikipedia. According to the Maleus Maleficarum, all redheads are destined to be either witches, vampires or werewolves. Good thing the German part wasn't redheaded, or I probably wouldn't exist, as the Germans were VERY big on killing witches. (Germans don't do anything halfway.)

Becks dyed my hair an ABSOLUTELY gorgeous shade of ruby last night. It goes GREAT with my complexion.

And yes, I have a Irish temper, with a huge dose of German attitude thrown in.

Being left-handed, too, would have really sent her on a tear.

My daughter is left-handed and has suffered a lot in school situations. Her great-grandmother had to learn to use her right hand when eating in order to be permitted to dine at the family table.

My mother told me that epilepsy meant the person was possessed. Yes, yes, she did. This was in the early 1970s. Her mother heard her repeat that assertion and got this look and promptly informed my mother that she had not been brought up like some superstitious hillbilly and that epilepsy was a medical condition.

So this woman has a problem with Reno?

Sorry, I don't know how to make the image smaller.
