  • Madam PeePee

This woman's demeanor wasn't sucky that I know of. But............damn.

I was in the service drive today to talk to one of the writers when I walked past this woman and caught a noseful of cat pee. Very strong, like something she was wearing was soaked in it. On my way back I passed her again and WHAMO!! Kind of like sticking my head in a bag full of ammonia. Seriously, if you can't smell that, how many cats do you have? And where do they pee?

I watched a few people walk into her funk-wall. The exact moment of inhalation was really obvious.
I know nothing and I can prove it!

Cat-hoarder, maybe? I imagine those folks with 45 cats kinda lose their sense of smell...

Hell, we've got two and I've been putting off going downstairs to do their litter-box.

Same here, but one of mine goes outside a lot so she rarely uses it. Not that the box even smells of cat pee in the first place.

I've known people who only have 3 cats in a good size house that reek of cat pee. I don't know what the heck the cats must be peeing on, but it certainly ain't a litter box apparently!

I have some friends who share a house (there's maybe 5 of them total) and they have two dogs and 5 or 6 cats.
When you walk into that house, it's like a Wall O' Cat Stench (I love cats, but in multiple numbers they do tend to stink up a place).

I don't go over very often, but when I do, I always leave wondering if I stink. It's not a very happy feeling.

Yeah, my cats don't go outside (they're declawed, for one thing). They have 2 litter boxes in the basement. It's more the smell of the litter itself plus the stick-on air freshener next to them that bothers me.

Our first cat used to go outside (he'd ask at the door like a dog). He had a litter box in the garage and we'd let him out there if the weather was bad but otherwise we didn't have to deal with it. The downside being that he would get in fights with the stray cats around the neighborhood. He had to be treated twice for infected scratches on his face. Hence indoor cats this time around.

My cats live outside, so I don't have to deal with it. And the fact that I no longer live with my 'rents helps too.

My orange cat, Bean, will walk with me while I take the dogs out(yeah it kinda looks like a traveling circus when all the pets do it, 4 cats 2 dogs and a rooster). One day, the dogs noticed that a new dog had been in their "territory", so they start peeing EVERYWHERE. And then, Bean starts spraying the place down!

My cat was marking territory with my dogs! It was really weird. On top of that, Bean is fixed, which makes it even more odd.

I have only 4 cats left and they are all outside, so we discarded the litter boxes a few months ago.

Of course, having cats doing their business outside has its downside as well. For example, we have one cat who insists on going right in front of the trash cans at the side of the house where the handicapped ramp is, which usually results in Mom running over some with her chair. She can hose off the wheels, but the smell is still there for awhile (I suspect it's Stan, our gray cat who has been doing this.)

Then we have Rover (our white cat) who prefers to go right in the front yard, near the front flower beds, meaning the smell travels up to the front porch.

Even though we don't have a smell in our house, we're still smelling it from the porch. Truly a no-win situation.

Now, if I could train my cats to clean up after themselves, I'd be a zillionaire by now.
