Okay, this is not exactly a Sucky Customer story so much as it's just kinda funny and weird. This is my first post so please be nice...lol
At the time I had just been promoted to a Guest Service Team Lead (GSTL) at a SuperTarget.
I was watching my registers and it had been a pretty slow day...this is usually bad because its considered as the calm before the storm...
My team member at the Guest Service Desk paged me on the walkie that she needed assistance with a guest. (I know we're a retail store, but if you've ever been to a Target we call all our customers guests...some people think its crazy, and sometimes so did I, I never invited these kooks into my store)
When I get there a guest is standing at the register and looks extremely annoyed, I get behind the counter and start asking how I can help her.
She explains to me that my "rude" cashier would not accept her bra for a return. I proceeded to ask if it had been worn, and of course, yes it had. I explained to her that for sanitary reasons I could not accept the return.
She proceeded to expalin that she had worn the bra out to a club and was drinking when she felt something poking her...being a bit intoxicated she thought it was just an uncomfortable bra and tried readjusting it. When she got home she saw blood on the bra and noticed that she had poked a hole on the bottom part of her boobie.
Once I heard this I knew it was an issue for the manufacturer since she had been injured by their product. I explained to her that I could give her the number to that manufacturer and they would most likely settle to prevent a horrible looking lawsuit. She said that she wanted me to give her a refund because we had sold it to her.
As I was trying to use my newly acquired guest-friendly lingo she blurts out "look what it did to me" and proceeds to pull her boob out from her shirt and bra she is wearing to show me the wound...ok, there are some places that boobs were never meant to be seen and a SuperTarget Guest Service Desk is one of them. I turn away because, well, quite frankly, boobs and chicks in general don't do much for me.
I get a phone call from security that's watching the cameras from their office and just noticed a boob where there shouldn't be boobs exposed and ask if I need help, I tell them to please come and pretty soon they're escorting her out of the store. Funniest thing is that in all the hustle and bustle she left the bra on the counter, we took pictures of the article but since it was a biohazard it was placed in a red plastic bag, and then, well we had to destroy it.
