I think 10am is early too and I wouldn't want to be up to check out that early on my vaction either. But I would have asked about it when making the reservations, and if they didn't give me late check out I wouldn't make a reservation. Maybe thats cause I'm not an EW.

VRS's posts remind me of my days in the Vacation/Sales industry. In my 5 years of service, I recall approximately 4 times being threatened with a personal lawsuit, about a dozen or so times the threat of the company being sued, and at least 25 or so "I'll have your job" threats. Funny enough, I quit of my own volition without ever having a lawyer call me or a manager/boss type writing me up for customer complaints.
