    Guest: I want to check availabilty and I have a package for a discount

    Me: ok the unit you want is available but I can only offer you 10% instead of 20%

    Guest: no no no no no, you'll give me 20%

    Me: I cant sir

    Guest: we're not playing this game, I want 20%

    Me: the owner only allows 10%

    Guest: well we got a little problem here, Dave, what are you going to do?

    Me: I cant do 20%

    Guest: you obviously dont want my business

    Me: I do sir but I cant do 20%

    Guest: ok son, you better talk to to your manager and call me back and tell me you got my 20% discount...otherwise, I will rent someplace else

    Me: ok

    Guest: I am not gonna hold my breath on you calling me because you dont sound like you're too interested in helping me

    Me: sorry you feel that way, sir

    Guest: well if I dont hear from you by tommorow night, I am going elsewhere so you better go to work if you want me to come back

    Me: sure thing

      Please say your spineless manager didn't cave and give the man a 20% discount. Or even better in that your manager said FU to the guy and that was that.
      Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

                          The OWNER caps the max discount at 10%. Yeah, good luck getting something better on that property...idiot.

                            Was there more to the conversation than that? He obviously had something that offered him 20%. If that particular property would only allow 10% couldn't that have been explained to him in more detail with perhaps an alternate property suggested that would give him the offer he had in hand? Most people need details when they're told something different that they've read.

                              I agree with SuperB, that perhaps the reason he was not being given 20% should have been explained to him. Yeah, the dude was a prick casing, but if you have a 20% discount in hand and are told you are only being given 10%, and are not told why? You might be a bit peeved as well. Just saying.

                              Okay, I beg to differ.

                              HAL can control everything about your environment, including ending your life in the vast empty vacuum of space.

                              SCs are merely annoyances.
