happened tonight-this lady got arrested

This particular situation was a screw up of ours but to say this SC overreacted would be a gross understatement. First, the place she booked left our rental program so we offered her another place which she was happy with. However, the reservation got moved to something else and the place she was supposed to move to was booked.

Guest: so move them out

Me: I cant do that

Guest: why not? you did it to us

Me: I understand that ma'am but...

Guest: but nothing, go down there immediately and tell those sons of bitches to leave

Guest: fine, if you dont throw them out, I will

Me: if you go to that property and harass those people, I will call the police

Guest: we'll see about that

an hour and a half later, she calls back


Guest: YOU LIAR.....I am here at this house and just knocked on the door and nobody answered and there isnt a fucking car in the driveway. There is nobody here, you GD MF'ing liar.....(husband is in the background telling wife to shut up, she is embarassing him) I dont give a fuck if I am embarassing you, this asshole lied to me.......I want a fucking key to this property now and I want you personally to bring it and explain why you lied to me

Guest: you lied again

Me: there are people there

Guest: and where the fuck are they?

Me: I dont know but ma'am, you need to leave that property before we call the police

Guest: you send the police down here and I will tell them how you took this property from me and lied...you lied

I call the police who later call and tell me that they in fact arrested this lady because punched an office in the face and refused to leave the property and kept going on and on and on about how I am the real criminal because I ruined her vacation

Either way, this woman in the OP has some major entitlement issues to say the least. But hopefully she'll learn a good lesson after spending some time at the Graybar Hotel.

Uh, is there some rule that you are not allowed to leave the property for the length of your stay? Perhaps they went out to dinner? Or there are some other sort of attractions in a, say, vacation area?
