    I'm a male.

I did a feminist philosophy class.

    Need I continue?

(ok - that's a bit sexist, but that's basically how it went anyway....)

But hasn't it always been that you get marks for writing what they agree with? And marked harder on stuff they don't?

Chanlin - I'm really hoping that it's a very easy subject.

I loathe easy markers. (Not) sorry, but if you don't know your stuff, then you don't get the grade - simple!
When I said "From my research", what I actually meant to say was "Made shit up" - from a thottbot thread

I'm one of those students that some of these teachers dread.

I will argue with them. I am not intimidated by them. I will always find support for my arguments. And I will raise a huge fuss if they give me bad grades because I disagree with them. If there is no reason for me to get a bad grade other than my view of something is different but equally valid, there is a problem.

But yeah, the first time I had one of the 'You're dumb if you disagree with me' teachers, I caved to him entirely for about half the quarter... then my wonderful history prof, who is still my favorite teacher ever, taught me how to stand up to them.
