    Bank call center.

SC: Hi, I'm at your online chat and I want to know if they can block lost checkcards or if I have to call you.
    Me: Have you asked them?
SC: They're typing back. They're saying my card is blocked, so I guess they can.
    Me: Any other questions?
    SC: No.....
    Me: Thank you for calling.

SC: I went to the ATM and this dude had me overdraw my account to give him cash and then he didn't do what he told me he would.
Me: Was he holding a gun to you or did you withdraw the money willingly?
    SC: I withdrew it willingly.
Me: Then it's a civil matter and you have to sue him.
SC: I want you to give me a picture of his license plate from your security cameras so that I can track him down.
Me: We're not a law enforcement agency, we're a bank. You'd have to contact the police.
SC: So I'm going to contact the police so that they can call you with the request I have?
    Me: Yes.
    SC: Why?
Me: Because we're not a law enforcement agency.
    SC: That's stupid.

SC: So someone called me and they said they were from the bank and that I won a prize.
Me: Did they ask for anything?
    SC: Yes, my checkcard number.
Me: Did you give it to them?
    SC: Yes.
    I verify him.
Me: They charged your account $400.

If you actually won something, you wouldn't have to pay anything to claim your prize or give out your bank account numbers.

You're an idiot. In the future, don't deal with people who ask you to overdraw your account. You're not getting your money back because you're stupid.

I wonder what this "dude" was supposed to do.
Excuse me, good sir paladin, can you direct me to your EVIL district?

might be why he didn't want to go to the police himself... and why he didn't know how to contact him

so i'm betting a drug deal gone sour.

That would explain a lot. It's called DOPE for a reason.
