Sorry I used to work in sales and even though I had SC's I didn't let them get to me to much. But a few years ago I started working in Returns. I was not prepared for it. I started in returns as the supervisor. The people below me were already deadened to the excuses and threats of SCs. I was not. It doesn't take long to here every excuse. Even when I tried to find a reason to help someone they could be sucky. I had one customer that wanted to return something way past the return date. I informed him that I couldn't because of the policy of 30 days. He then told me he was sent to Iraq. I said well then sir I will return it because you had a more important commitment. He said that shouldn't matter. So all I could then tell him was sorry then I can't return it. Seriously, I was able to find a good reason to break the rules and he refused it. I was dumbfounded. I am always polite throughout any interaction so I wan't snotty about making the excpection. Honestly I was glad to have a reason to break the rules. But he shut me down. Oh well. There will be more stories to come.
