    Here is the story, apparently a man wanted to go look at potential property for rent on one of our private islands. We cant write passes to people who arent currently staying on the island and we cant leave the office to escort them on to the islane because we are very short staffed. Apparently, this man wanted on the island and contacted a realtor and asked her to show the units he was interested in,

    Realtor: Yea Dave, I have a complaint. Why am I doing your job?

    Me: I'm sorry

    Realtor: why am I having to show your properties to rental guests? I dont get a penny out of this

    Me: well you dont have to do that

    Realtor: yes I do, because you people wont do your jobs. This man was desperate. How do you expect someone to rent with you when they cant even see what they are getting?

    Me: we have pictures online

    Realtor: that is not the point

    Me: the community assosiation wont let us write passes

    Realtor: so someone cant leave and show this man around?

    Me: we cant leave the office everytime someone wants to go on the island

    Realtor: thats not very accomodating...you arent very customer friendly but let me tell you this, this is the last time I am leaving my office to show your villas, do you hear me?

    Me: well I mean it is your choice to do it....we didnt ask you to

    Realtor: you know you dont get it, I guess you're just too stupid

    Me: ok this call is over CLICK

    That realtor was a douche, but I also think it's silly you can't at least make a viewing appointment at a set time for someone who wants to see a specific property.

      I see two assumptions there:

      1) VRS's managment being sensible

      2) customer asking for appointment (as opposed to showing up randomly and demanding Right Now)

        The realtor definitely had a point. This is not her job and she's not getting paid for doing this. But, um, excuse me... WHO ASKED HER TO?

        Yeah, maybe your employer ought to find a way to show units to clients. Maybe he'll lose some business. This is not her problem.

        It sounds like the client tricked her into showing him the property, pretending he was interested in buying, and now she feels she got burned. She's taking her frustration out on you. Not fair.
        Women can do anything men can.
        But we don't because lots of it's disgusting.

          Honestly, its not like most people travel to the place that their gonna vacation to see the place before hand. It just doesn't make sense. The pictures are enough for most normal people.

              Agreed. Who in their right mind travels out to a vacation spot beforehand to view it? Never mind, I think I answered my query.
