The Bagging Customer

Yesterday, a customer and her daughter brought their own bags and the daughter did the packing. The customer wasn't happy that I wasn't packing and I let her know that I was waiting for permission to do so. Usually, when customers bring their own bags, I usually wait until I have permission to pack their bags so if they have a packing system, I don't mess it up. The daughter agreed to ask about my doing some packing next time.
