There's a customer that shops arount the general area of my workplace. I work in a video store. She has become infamous around that whole area. We'll just refer to her as LL. LL has little to no respect for employees and their duties. She goes to different stores and treats people like crap. I worked 3 long years before I had to encounter LL. When I did, it was not fun. First off I'm fully convinced that this woman is on some kind of illegal substance because she couldn't stand still if hre life depeneded on it. She grabs about 30-40 videos, carries about 20 of them, and leaves the rest on the counter. She'll ask about every single one of them. She'll stay past closing. She'll refuse to pay her late fees, which I kid you not, is in the hundreds. She's about 6 shitty customers combined into one. Did I mention that she's rude? I hope none of you ever have to encounter someone like her.

Wow!! What an awful old wench. I don't blame you for avoiding her, but why do you call her LL? What does it stand for?

If she is such a problem customer, and has hundreds of dollars in late fees that she refuses to pay, why is she still a member there?

I would have given LL the boot a long time ago. Tell her she can't set foot in the store again until she has ponied up what she owes in late fees.

Agreed. Freeze her account, turn it over to collections and tell her to **** off.

Because she's a valued customer and making customers pay their late fees is bad customer service?

If you aren't going to force customers to pay late fees, why bother having late fees?

Because the good ones pay them. The customers with a conscience. They are the ones that get screwed.
