I had to take this outside call today because nobody on the floor was answering it. Thanks guys. Love ya. 
Me: Good morning, toy department, how can I help you?
Customer: You got those Barbie dolls that are on sale for $3 each?
(Note--the $3 Barbie doll in question is a special collector's edition doll that was released for Barbie's 50th birthday, which is evidently a major event for people interested in that kind of thing.)
Me: Yes. They will go on sale Thursday.
(Another note--we got a note from corporate telling us not to put the special $3 Barbie dolls out on the floor until Thursday, because they are pictured in Thursday's ad and we want to make sure they're available on Thursday.)
Customer: You want to try that again? All Barbie dolls are supposed to be $3!
Me:
As far as I know, the only Barbie doll for $3 is the special collector's edition I just told you about.
Customer: It was on TV last night! On two channels! All Barbie dolls are $3 in honor of Barbie's birthday!
Me: I'm sorry, but again I believe only the special collector's edition dolls will be $3. I'm sure the other Barbie dolls will be on sale as well.
Customer: That's false advertising! IT WAS ON TWO CHANNELS ON TV LAST NIGHT! *click*
