We've had two complaints this week at my store that were simply frivolous.
Give me that!!!!
The other day, a co-irker was doing something in one of the aisles when he suddenly noticed that his hand scanner was missing. He went looking for it and found that some kid had swiped it and was tearing around the furniture pad waving the thing around.
Now, these scanners are VERY expensive ($1500 each), and my co-irker was in no mood to have to explain why one ended up broken, so he walked right over to the kid and snatched it out of his hands.
I suppose he should have asked the kid for it first, but if the kid was so poorly-behaved that he just took it in the first place, I doubt he'd have given it back without some sort of fight.
Kid runs screaming to mommy; Mother of the Year complains about co-irker; CSL pretends to take complaint seriously, then disregards it once Mother of the Year leaves.
Watch where you're going, bitch.....
Today I was helping a woman when she blundered into a shelf fixture and got her shirt caught on something, tearing a small (about 1/4 inch) hole in it.
She didn't seem all that worked up over it, but the next thing I know she's dragging OpsMan over to where it happened and was complaining! Jeeze lady, is it really our fault that you bumped into the shelf?
And somehow the complaint got escalated, because not long after that, we got a call from the Area Loss Prevention Manager about it!!!
What the fuck is wrong with people?
