Ha, when I was at RadioShack we would constantly talk about male and female connectors for hookups........

Picture a similar conversation and then have several 6-8 yr olds ask 'what is the difference between a male connector and female connector?
You never saw someone get so red in the face or so many people bail on you so they won't have to answer the question.

This connector conversation reminds me of a job I had at an ice cream parlor when I was 16. Customer orders a "female sundae." I look at him blankly and ask, "What's a female sundae?" His response was simple:

"No nuts."



Regarding the whole letter/number thing, I actually live in Building A in my complex, and thus "A" is part of my address. So if someone asks my apartment number, it really IS "A-###."
