SC = STUPID customer
Me =
Me: _SU Subway, how can I help you today?
SC: Do you guys take pre-orders?
Me: Oh, yeah you can call ahead.
SC: CAll ahead? Yeah well can I place an order?
Me: Yes how can I help?
SC: Can I get a party order?
Me: Yes you can what kind?
SC: A couple large pizzas....
Me: I'm sorry we don't carry pizzas here.
SC: You don't carry pizzas? But the other subways do!
Me: I'm sorry we actually don't carry pizzas around here. We haven't in this store and the regional subways stopped last year.
SC: What's the closest thing?
Me: Well we do have a pizza sub or a pizziola or a MEatball but you have to get them as a sub, not a party sub or a catering order.
SC: Well I guess I can get a couple large Pizza Sub...How long does it take to make them?
Me: Depends on how many you want, and we have to start a little sooner due to that they are a hot sub.
SC: Well how long does it take to deliver?
Me: I'm sorry we don't do deliveries.
SC: You don't?
Me: Yeah, I'm sorry but we don't do deliveries.
SC: Sure you can't deliver it?
Me: No we can't deliver subs.
SC: You sure?
Me: Yes I'm sure we can't deliver.
SC: WHy don't you deliver? Quiznos and Silver mine deliver!
Me: Well this is basically a mall subway and we don't deliver because we have to work under the assumption that most employees don't even have drivers licenses let alone cars. Plus we also gotta know the town and add on a delivery charge. It's really too much trouble on top of the parking on campus.
SC: So if I order something I have to pick it up?
Me: Yes you have to pick it up.
SC: Can I pick it up when you deliver?
Me: No we don't do deliveries.
SC: But it's for a party, you do catering, right?
Me: Yes we do catering orders but we don't deliver because we only supply the food.
SC: But that's not what catering is, you have to come here and serve it.
Me: That would be delivering.
SC: CAn you serve it?
Me: No we don't serve it either, that's what a catering company does and we make sandwiches and food to give to others.
SC: You can't deliver? I can pay extra.
Me: No, we DON'T Deliver.
SC: Can't we come to a certain poitn and pick it up?
Me: No that's delivering.
SC: WEll can't you just bring it over here and I can pay over the phone? I'll pay a delivery charge!
Me (Rising blood pressure): We don't deliver.
SC: But other sub places do! You should do it too!
Me: I'm sorry it's owner's choice! This store cannot do deliveries!
SC: You should! It'd make so many deliveries easier!
Me: We can't deliver!
SC: Well when do you think you will?
Me: Probably not in the near future!!
SC: You're worthless! I hope this recession takes your franchise with it!!! *click*
(I should have hung up but I'd actually get written up for that.
