So I have some returns stories. I will try to keep them as short as possible.
1. This happened a few years ago.
SC: I want to return this (random) item.
Me: Sorry we only have a 30 day return policy and you are way out of that sir. (feeling bad, I don't always like being the asshole).
SC: Well I was in Iraq and couldn't return it.
Me: (finding justification to break the rules!) Well then sir I can make an exception since you were in Iraq.
SC cuts me off. That shouldn't matter.
Me.
Then sorry sir I can't return it for you.
WTF i tried to find a loophole and the SC closed it!
Next SC return issue.

CW: Chris
HCW comes in to return a defective item and talks to CW. CW isn't a manager so cant help him and directs him to me.
HSC: This doesn't work.
Me: Well sir do you have your receipt?
HSC: No. but this doesnt work.
Me: Well sir the product does have a warranty but I need a receipt.
This goes on for a few minutes. The HSC leaves. CW apologizes to me. I reply no problem I have seen worse. HSC returns with his wife. HA!
WSC: WE NEED TO RETURN THIS.
Me: Ma'am do you have your receipt?
WSC: No.
She continues ripping me a new one. I just stand patiently. Sorry HSC, but your wife may OWN you but not me. Finally they decide to leave after attempting to try to buy a new one and put the defective one in the box and return it. I almost laugh as I tell them I won't return that item ever for them. They walk off saying they will come back when "that Son of a Bitch isn't here". Funny thing is they didn't my coworker saw them in the mall at least twice after that and they looked in and avoided our store!
