So the day before Mothers day apparently some dumba$$ in the clothing store down the strip from us pulled a knife on some girls over a dispute in the checkout line. So naturally he bolts for it and where does he go? Why my store of course. He walked in like nothing happened and when the police showed up they burst into our store and drug him out, where they arrested him in front of the in door. Best/worst part is that the scumbag had his wife, mother, and two young kids with him in the store at the time. I was told they stayed with him while he was arrested and the kids were bawling as daddy got drug off to jail. Lovely mothers day gift for his mom and wife.
(no one got hurt in the whole thing luckily, except for his family I guess

I was in a crowded aisle helping a customer today and as I turned to walk down the aisle, a woman suddenly thrusts an "exacto" knife towards me blade uncovered and pointing my way. It came inches from my ribs when I stopped, she looks at me and asks "Where can I find one of these?".
I honestly had no idea what to say to her, I just blurted out where to find it and hightailed it out. After about a minute I decided that even if she wasn't being aggressive she still should be considered a danger and went to find my manager and let him know. On the way I found the woman again, she was still looking for the knife and seemed agitated that she hadn't found it. So I told her I was just looking for my manager and I'd send him her way. I found him and let him know about it, but he couldn't find her, I saw her leave a bit later. *PHWEW*
