The company that I work for was recently bought out by another company. We were talking about the changes that have been made when a woman comes up to the register and comments "Well I hope that they let all of you go and get some quality staff in here." My coworker was . I looked at her and said sweetly "Acually Ma'am they decided to keep all the same staff." I have never seen someone move as fast as she did to get out of the store.

Well, I believe that when people wish stuff like that on others, it comes back on them eventually.

I mean I realize that the reason for this site being around is because of people like that but still.

Imagine her reaction if someone's response had been:
Boy I wish your brain would have gotten a new owner.

Perhaps when the brains were being handed out, this person thought "trains" and said "No thanks, I'll catch the next one."

Any way you look at it, that was a tactless comment to make to anyone.
