So we're rearranging our floor and so some people are pulling demos but not labeling them. Damn supervisor. Anyway, we had this DVD-recorder and VHS combo and this guy kept on trying to get it for 15 dollars. No. Our cheapest one is 150. So we get a manager over there and I go pull the remotes. We don't have one for one of them so I pull two model numbers below and above the number. I say we should sell it for 130. My coworker says 30. Manager says 80. Guy refuses it and walks away.

Supervisor was annoyed that the manager offered it at 80 as it should have been at least 100. Apparently the guy was crazy for not taking that deal.

I wonder where you work where the managers can haggle the prices like that. My store gets reported to corporate for every price adjustment we do.

They might. I don't really know how that works. We also didn't have that much to go by because neither the supervisor or manager for electronics were in and because the idiots who displayed the model didn't save the remote. So I want to know how it was inventoried.
