  • The Transgender and the bearded lady

I never had to deal with one of the many transgenered that come in. This one wears the same clothes everyday. Jeans, some type of leopard print spandex shirt that is cut of bellow the breast and some type of black vest. Now the thing I noticed about the person was the vest was odd. It went around her shoulders but not across her back.

Finally someone told me she was born a he. A lot of my co-workers tell me she is nasty. Today the security was arguing with her, telling her she can't "do that" in the library. I don't know what she was doing now, but everyone knows she solicits. Also, she argue with the librarians. And she talks to herself (which isn't bad or against rules, but she seems unstable).

Anyway, I'm waiting for an elevator and I see a pregnant lady in a sack dress. Then I realized she had a ginger beard. I'm a bad person for making fun of the person (not in front of her, of course) but I officially work in a freak show. Then the transgender came up to the bearded lady and it seems they know each other.

Then it could be a guy with some liver disease wearing a sack dress.

    But still, freak show.

Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

    I wish porn had subtitles.

Anyone who ever has worked for a government department or agency knows exaclty what you mean. Heck, a lot of people who work retail in general can relate.

I, however, cannot fault someone for having a hormonal disorder.

Someone soliciting or doing skanky stuff is a whole different matter. Why cannot the transgender person be banned for her behavior?

From the posts I've seen by the OP, her library management seems to be the bottom-of-the-barrel as far as spinelessness. This includes people cursing out the librarians and workers and bothering well behaved patrons, yet her managers allow it and even condone the behavior.

Funny how girls can wear boy clothes, but boys can't wear girls clothes. Hundreds of years ago, babies and young children wore dresses and had long hair, both sexes.

Now there are Utilikilts, men's skirts, peasant skirts, women's pant suits, etc. I think just about anything is acceptable for anyone to wear. And I think that's a good way for it to be.

Not to mention I like wearing mens clothing

I'll second that. Tomboys are almost enough to make me straight...

heck we all used to be naked or wearing animal skins. in many cultures only men were allowed on stage and thus played female roles. Ancient Greece you were expected to sleep with other men when young and grow out of it (my sister's a history student)

Funny that you mention this right now, when last night I had a dream where I observed third person and first person the toils of a young guy who had lots of trouble because he liked to use skirts instead of pants.... and realized that guy was me, I'd love to use skirts sometimes (specially 80's snowed jean skirts, my all time favorites), but, I'm unwilling to fight the social stigma it would bring to do so.

Nothing is manlier than a Scott wearing a kilt. Which is basically a dress.

                    Hells Yeah!

Only works with red hair and full red haired beard though.

                    ...

I wear some really weird stuff sometimes. I got this HUGE 70s sunglasses and just got myself a US navy blue dress uniform, with badges and all, and there are pictures where I wear make-up. And I'm talking full face with lips and eyes and the girl had to use a strong lip color, cause my lips are naturally bright red. I've heard some gals are actually jealous of my lips (not sure if this is a compliment for a guy) (yes, I was very drunk) but couldn't bring myself to wear an actual skirt...

Can I just say, there is absolutely nothing wrong with men in skirts and make up. Case in point, Nicky Wire. Is unfortunate we don't have a drooly smilie.

And you are sure to get them. The Navy thing should be here any day now.

No pictures of me in womens makeup though, don't have any here.

Also, I have to edited my previous statement.

Wearing kilts only works with red hair and ful beard or being incredibly handsome.
