ok so this wasn't my customer but my asst manager was helping her on the register next to mine
this was Saturday night and our 3rd person had gone on break so it was just me and asst manager for the 30 minutes, which is fine, on a Saturday night by that time, has usually slowed down.
in comes in SC
my asst manager was the one who was ringing and i was backup if needed. i get called up to help and notice a little bit of a line, no biggie. of course, if that were the point, why would this story be here.
SC is now with my AM and telling her a story. i block it out because as she keeps talking the line gets longer and longer, so i do my best to get everyone checked out as fast as i could.
basically what her story was about was she had bought a box of Centrum vitamins, but inside was a <store brand> vitamin. but she said it was sealed.
now its not like she opened the box and saw the bottle and left that bottle sealed. otherwise my AM wouldn't have ranted about SC. apparently the box was sealed. so how would you know the generic brand is in there? and by the way, how the hell would that happen anyway? hmm lets put <store brand> in the centrum box la la la.
the AM said there wasn't anything she could do, i think SC was trying to return it, but no receipt = no return...esp. on vitamins
but the other reason i write this story is that the woman had bugs. yes bugs. my AM said that about halfway through this 20 min SC she noticed little white bugs flying out of the customers head, and on her shoulders and whatnot EWWWW
WTF! that's gross. idk what they were, i did not see them, and luckily never got close enough to catch any
same buggy customer had come in the day before. she showed up at 7:30am..
we dont open til 8am. she claimed her watch said 745, which still is a fail, we're still not open. they let her in anyways and let her sit at the pharmacy chair area....i bet she left some bugs there too.
