Back to the phones, back to inbound, and it's getting interesting.

SC - Those who stand in my path
Tick tock tick tock. . .
Basically, this woman called into telesales to make a payment. We don't actually take payments, mind you, unless you're buying something. So, as I'm informing this woman as to what needs to occur for her to make her payment, she goes. . .
SC - You mean I need to talk to someone else? I'm gonna get in trouble for talking on the phone at work!"
All semblance of respect I had for this lady kinda left me at this point. I could understand had I called her, but it didn't work out that way. She called me, and is now complaining at the only thing that I can do for her. At this point, I can think of only one thing to say. Of course, I didn't say it. I thought it, though.
There's this novel concept that some people are using; it's called WAITING TO CALL. Now, if you can wrap your mind around this concept, then perhaps you can even think about working on your common sense. But I doubt it.
Third time. . .
Had a customer call in. This guy's name was Bridgett something or another, which sent up, I guess, a yellow flag, since I wasn't too terribly worried. I mean, there are guys named Stacy, right?
So, he needs a credit check. I do the check, and, as per usual, we require a manual credit review. And he told me, basically, "This particular credit submission has failed validation three times."
There's the red flag. This had fraud written all over it. Manual review lets me go, and I go back to the customer. . .
Me: Well, it looks like this particular credit application has failed validation three ti. . .
SC: *click*
Guess the third time isn't the charm.
Enjoying my weekend. Looking forward to lots of angry calls on Monday due to telesales not getting the Palm Pre.
