    Dear Customers,

    When you call my company to request a service on your product - be it warranty or not – please have the basic information such as model number, date of purchase and a fault description other than “it’s not working” on you at the time of your call. This will ensure that the correct technician is sent and will have onboard the correct parts to carry out your repair.

    And to my last customer who answered every question I asked with “I don’t know, my husband just told me to ring” might I suggest that next time you get your husband to call me with the details rather than getting pissy with me because I was just trying to get SOME basic information to pass on to the technician to ensure that when he attends site, he has some basic idea of what it wrong.

    Welcome to my world. Though it is our internal customers who plague me, not our revenue generators.

    I don't know how many times I get a work ticket opened for a report, that says 'I don't think it is right', so why isn't it right, what about the report do you think is wrong, are the balances too high, are the counts too low. What exactly do you think is wrong, your 'feeling' doesn't tell me sqwat.

    Oh, and when requesting a new report, telling me you want a 'Whatever Skippity' report, also doesn't tell me sqwat, if this is all you give me and I give you exactly what you ask for don't bitch later and tell me it is wrong. It is like going to a restraunt and saying the word 'Food' with no further explanation.

      Are you sure you don't work with me?
      A large part of my job is running reports on different stuff. Of course, most people are super frustrating, and ask for vague things like "I need a report on this door." Gee, that's specific. I can run a dozen reports on a door.

      Also, don't get angry at me when I give you what you asked for. If you wanted a report showing xyz, then ask for a report showing xyz. I don't have the time or patience to run 5 different reports, until I correctly guess what you want.
