Short and sweet. We had an SC who called down having problems with the remote not changing channels. I tried my first idea, which was to unplug the TV from our cable box. Still nothing. Since this wasn't working SC's kept asking if they can get a free room if I'm not able to fix it. I figure best thing to do was ignore it.
Luckily my backup plan worked. I brought up a new remote, which did everything they needed.
Seriously, who things they'd get a free room because of a TV issue? Discount? Sure, I can see that happening, but free? Forget it.
