    No TV and No free room make SC something something

    Short and sweet. We had an SC who called down having problems with the remote not changing channels. I tried my first idea, which was to unplug the TV from our cable box. Still nothing. Since this wasn't working SC's kept asking if they can get a free room if I'm not able to fix it. I figure best thing to do was ignore it.

    Luckily my backup plan worked. I brought up a new remote, which did everything they needed.

    Seriously, who things they'd get a free room because of a TV issue? Discount? Sure, I can see that happening, but free? Forget it.
    To right the countless wrongs of our days... We shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise...Oh, what a wonderful world such would be...

    geez .... ;ast time we hit my favorite motel on the way to my mums teh remote wasnt working, so I used the alternate remote .... honey, can you change the channels for me? lol

    We did tell them when we checked out, just so they would be able to get it fixed.
    EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.

      Of course they should get a free room for such a horrible failure on your part. They're extra-special unique snowflakes. Their mommies told them so.

      At least, that's what's passing through what pretends to be their brain.

            Of course sir! but only if you're using the room JUST to watch tv, so we'll send an employee up there, and if you use the bathroom, A/C, or lie on the bed the employee will beat you with a cane until you stop!

                Was just gonna comment on the title... XD

                You know, this reminds me of when we first moved to the area, 9 years ago(Wow, it's been that long...).. We were staying in one of the seaside motels, and they had universal remotes... So I'd walk down the way turning on the TVs in vacant rooms... I turned them back OFF, of course, I was just bored with nothing to do. And there was only one other person staying there besides us.
                Look, a signature!

                If every cashier in the world went on strike, retail would come to a screeching halt, even if for a couple hours.

                    Hey now, let's be fair. Mr hero started it, Irv just responded with the appropriate countersign.

                    Then again, yeah, I'd bet any amount of your money that Irv will be the first one with a relevant Simpsons quote in any given thread he's involved in.
