a cust called in freakin telling me im the 6th person he calls in comcast today
usually when issues like this happen i auto prepare my mind for some issue that
everybody tried to help this man with and failed or just couldnt help him at all and
reset his phone modem cust instantly thinking he got hung up on. turns out dude
had purchased about 3 differennt routers and tried all of them and was not smart
enough to sync them. i mean gee-whiz before i worked here i had no computer
netowrking experince but anybody can figure out a router hookup. so i explain to
the dude " sir i have to let you know in that in the agreement policy we do not
support 3rd party devices." cust asks me what brand is your routers? i replied
netgear and he literally says this "BOOM got one here let me hook it up and you
can help me im amazed at how many spare routers this guy has obviously more
than three. so i explained to him again the situation that we dont support routers
that arent from comcast. he says you know what than your equipment is junk and
quote "its for the birds" and says hes gonna rip out his services and toss them
out the window. i hope he gets charged out the wang for doing that and never
again deals with comcast "BOOM"!. lmao even "da birds" can hook up a router.
