Man, that guy had some issues. If she stopped bothering him when asked then what's the problem? I'll bet she didn't even know she was being disruptive. He probably ruined the whole movie for himself fuming about it

This thread reminded me of when I went to see Harry Potter 6 in the theater. I was kind of nervous that there would be screaming loud children through the whole thing (the place was pretty full) and it would be disruptive. Surprisingly the kids were all really well behaved, at least once the movie started In fact, I found their little "oohs" and "aahs" at the movie and the little surprised noises to be really endearing. It actually added to the movie!

Because I always get to the movies well before the previews, the theater is empty when I sit down. So long as no one else is there I let my kids chase each other around the room like the little monkeys that they are. The only things they can never do are climb over seats, throw things, or touch the screen. They're trained to plop their butts down in their seats and be quiet the moment they see someone else come in, though. I love the worried look that some people get when they see my kids running around, but it's even better when they realize that *my* monkeys are well-trained, quiet and polite through the whole movie. Proper parenting makes me a proud momma.
