  • Dumb Bitch Just Called Me an Idiot

Some dumb woman who signed up her son for a health insurance policy called to cancel it for him. Well, we require a request in writing from the actual insured person to cancel coverage, as a CYA. When I told her the policy, she called me an idiot.

I'll bet the son is a dumbass as well. 25 years old and still needing his mommy to handle his business.

In my younger days, I had a huge crush on my best friend's older brother...then I saw that his mom paid his bills. Well, not with her money, with his, but she sat down with them each month and wrote the checks out of his checkbook then he signed them. He was 25 and still living at home....not that anything is wrong with that...he was paying for school on his own (without financial aid and no loans) and did have a good job (computer geek of some sorts)...but to have his mom pay write out his checks, turn off.

Hell, my mum still handles a few parts of my buisiness, the more important parts anyway and I'm 24, mainly because she's a better memory than me and I'm awful at speaking on the phone. Still, she'd never call anyone who was just doing their job an idiot and therein lies the difference.

Don't blame the son for the sins of the mother

To be fair.....he could have my problem, of not being able to handle money very well. Sometimes sitting down with someone else to go through and make sure the bills are right and paid on time helps.

Is it possible he might have been dyslexic?
Aliterate : A person who is capable of reading but unwilling to do so.

I still write cheques for my EX-husband (who is 40). He always messes them up - invariably. So rather than waste three or four cheques every time he needs to write one, he just gets me to do it LOL

(he buys me gas and groceries when I'm short on cash, so I can't complain)

Because I have had so many problems with my doctor and the clinic and the insurance company farking up, I have my parents go over my statements before I even attempt to make a payment (although I do all mine online).

It depends on if the customer is a complete bitch to you. We all are not perfect and we do need help sometimes but being rude, nasty, arrogrant to the employee is not going to make me feel ANY sympathy for anybody.

Reason I like having someone else with me to do bills... I seem to have occasional numeric dyslexia... how else can you explain $1.39 coming out of my mouth as $9.13 cents...

yeah, it can be really bad sometimes.

There is another possibility; it might have just been quality time. Takes all kinds of things to make quality time.

The "dyslexic" theory is a good one. I'll have to bear that one in mind, too.

Dyscalcula? I think at least one other forumer suffers from that.
