So, either sadly or fortunately I wasn't in the store at the time. However, we had a book returned yesterday because.... "the first third was ok, but the second third was FULL OF HOMOSEXUALITY!!!!!!!!!!" My coworker said the customer would not stop going on and on about how offensive it was and how we should have a separate section for books like this, and blah de blah. I really wish I would have been there, however, I likely wouldn't have a job today if I had been.

My new favourite comic book store actually does keep those separate. Makes them easier to find. That's why they're my favourite.

Just the description on the back, it's usually pretty easy to tell if there will be homosexuality in a book. I guess the publishers want to warn people in case they might be offended (not on Mary Renault books, but there's really no sex in those anyway).

Frankly, I like a little of that in my steamy stories. Being happily married, I won't ever get the chance to go that way, but I like to read about it.

i asked my coworker and she can't remember. it's not like we sell as lot of books, i work in a drug store, we have a pretty limited selection.... i'll see if i can figure out. I really wanna know!
