  • Swice? oh, you meant Pepperjack?

Sometimes, I get some of the weirdest word substitutions ever...

    Me: "What kind of cheese?"
    C: "this one."
Me: "Which one?" (I reeeeeeallly dislike pointers...)
    C: "Swice"
    Me: "Swice?"
    C: "This one- swice"
    Me: "You mean Pepperjack?"
    C: "Yeah."
Me: "So you know, it's spicy."
    C: "Yeah I want that."

Fortunately he didn't mean "Swiss"...because he got no complaints about the cheese being spicy.

I've heard a lot of "OVER roasted chicken breast" requests at my store.

"I'll have an over roasted chicken breast!"

    *facepalm*

Do you want it all black or just black around the edges?
"Is it hot in here to you? It's very warm, isn't it?"--Nero, probably

I tend to point if I'm not sure how it's called. Point at it like "That cheese". Provolone? "Yeah, that's it!"

I was thinking that same thing.

Burn that chicken and see how they want it.
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.
