today was full of idiots, who apparently dont wanna change...or be better.
How do i get a license?
so i wasnt up front but got the story after. CW N did a refund for this lady. no receipt, she was returning duracell batteries and something cheap. since there was no receipt when the customer signs, they have to show their license. the lady says she doesnt have one and asks where to get one. *uh yeah* and shows some senior citizen id.. and its done and she leaves, CW A goes outside and sees the woman drive off. yea either shes a liar or is really driving without a license. and btw my store doesnt carry duracell so i wouldve never taken the return to begin with
But i want cash
N is doing another refund and i was up front this time. woman refunds some face creams at least $20 or $30 each. and used a check to pay for them about 10 days ago. N asks me how to process it and i say, money card. womans like, no i want cash, not a money card. we tell her again, we have to give a money card. i always say at least 2 weeks to let the check clear. lady doesnt want to do the refund and takes the stuff back. wtf lady
idiots who freakin steal
CW A calls me up and tells me she thinks 2 guys just stole a gps for dummies. so i go watch the videos, and it appears they steal, but because apparently now the cameras only record when people walk by i dont actually see them put the gps in their jacket. so i decided not to call the cops. A tells me we should call the next closest store in case they try to return it there. good thing we did. i talk to the asst there, whom i know and he said he cant talk the cops are there. im like oook. he calls back about 1 min later. i had already told him they stole a gps, and he says they stole 2 or 3 tvs. so i describe the guys and he does too and they sound similar, so he had to cops come over to my store when they were done. they come over and quickly decide its the same guys.
watching them come in the alarm doesnt go off (it flashes on camera) and their jackets are zipped up. they take off down an aisle and one guy is zipping his jacket up. and when they leave the alarm goes off, and the camera outside the store shows them darting off. they hit our store and then immediately hit the other store.
with budget cuts, between 7 and 9 its just me and N most nights (cept tonite) we cant see the backdoor of our store. and thats where everyone steals and leaves. even the cops were like, we hate that back door. even they think we should lock it early. if its just me and N everynite, i too want that door closed. god forbid people will have to walk around the company, but i think the safety of the employees should be somewhat important :P
oh and btw the gps's and those t.v.s are supposed to be behind check out
my manager is stupid along with the others store manager, who by the way is her husband...
