Guy gets towed for not having a permit for the lot he’s in
He comes in to pick up his car, says he lives there
We tell him that unless he has a permit, he can’t park there, but if he is a resident, it shouldn’t be hard to get one or even a temp pass from the rental office. He leaves.
Next night, we tow him again, because he’s back in the same lot, again, with no permit.
He comes in to pick up his car again, and again says he lives there
We again explain to him he must get a permit.
The next night, he does have a permit for his apartment….
…. And parks at a DIFFERENT one 3 blocks down, and gets towed, again.
And in case you think he was just being absent-minded, once he picked his car up the third time, he parked at the other place AGAIN the NEXT NIGHT in the very same space, all our receipts from his previous tows were piled up in the backseat of his car when it came in for tow number four. At $105 a pop, that’s $420 lost in four days
