    In fact, that is exactly what I did. End of problem.
    Several years ago, I somehow ended up with about 3 Nokia phones that were the same model (2 were Cricket phones, the other Alltel.)

    So the two Cricket phones got trashed when I started service with Alltel, but I kept the batteries from them and charged so if I needed to swap out a battery, I had one. It sure saved from having to purchase new batteries for quite a a few years.

      Wonder how much of his precious business he loses because he'll spend an hour chewing out everyone in sight over the horrible horrible inconvenience of it all instead of just slapping a new battery in the phone and continuing where he left off.

      I've run into people who will rage on and on about the dead batteries in things for ten times longer than it would take to just replace them and get back to work.

      Batteries die, it's a fact of life. That's why they make new ones.
      - They say nothing good happens at 2AM, they're right, I happen at 2AM.
