  • Paranoia=damage our property

    So this old couple bought 2 items, which entitled them to a free giftcard. It automatically comes up in the system for me to scan one. They must've been paranoid they wouldn't get it because they felt the need to rip the sign off the shelf & bring it to me. You could literally see the torn edge.

      unfortunately the value of the free gift card is exactly equal to the cost of repairing the damage therefore you don't get one, have a nice day.
      Customer "why did you answer the phone if you can't help me?"

        Reminds me of all those paint marks in the spray paint aisle from people paranoid that the stuff in the can marked "pink" isn't really pink, so they empty a can worth on something nearby before being satisfied.... some people...
        - They say nothing good happens at 2AM, they're right, I happen at 2AM.

            I test the paint, when I buy it, which is extremely rare. But I only use a little bit. Our paint area looks like a color explosion.

            Sadly, since I'm at Wal-Mart, it's the prettiest part of the store.

              They do that with our nail polishes, when they can SEE the color. And they don't test it on their nails, but instead on the display board.
